Volunteer Opportunity with JerseyCityEd

JerseyCityEd is looking for student volunteers in Grades 8-11 to help develop our website to provide more information about public schools 🏫 , private schools, classes, sports ⚽️ , and other educational opportunities in Jersey City. If you have a child in high school or going into high school who is looking for a way to volunteer, this opportunity could be a great way to get involved in the community!

The volunteers would be asked to gather information from friends, teachers, parents, administrators, and business owners. The volunteers could choose from writing ✍️ posts/pages, creating videos πŸŽ₯ , taking photos πŸ“Έ , distributing surveys βœ… , managing social media, hosting events, attending school board meetings, and more.

Great way to β€œvolunteer from home” and even get some valuable experience with real life work that could make an impact and look great on college applications. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, interested in education, comfortable with writing. A student could even pair up with a friend and join our team together!
